Fripp Island

The Sites
Spend a Day in Beaufort - Drive 19 miles to historic Beaufort, a charming town with 500 years of history to explore. Enjoy a walking tour or a horse drawn carriage ride that guides you past historic mansions, churches & graveyards dating from the 1700’s. Cheerful boutiques, Art galleries, Restaurants, and Shops dot the quaint downtown quarter beside the bay. Walk to the marina or relax in a porch swing in the bayside park enjoying the maritime atmosphere.
Explore Hunting Island - Visit this adjoining island that is a 5000 acre SC State Park. The beach will make you think you are on the set of Gilligan’s Island! (Part of GI Jane was filmed there.) Visit the 1859 lighthouse and climb atop for a panoramic view of the Sea Islands.
